INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
One of the few rules around here is our requirement of a minimum of 24 hours notice
to cancel a one-to-one session without charge.
However, in the event of inclement
weather, we follow Montgomery County Public Schools policy, i.e. if the kids can make
it, so can you, and if the kids can't make it, we won't ask you to risk it.

If Montgomery County Schools are closed, you may cancel your one-to-one session
without 24 hours notice.
If Montgomery County Schools close early, you may cancel your one-to-one session
without 24 hours notice provided your session is scheduled for after such an
announcement has been made.
If Montgomery County Schools have a delayed opening, you may cancel your
one-to-one session without 24 hours notice provided your session is scheduled for
before that time Montgomery County High Schools would open.

With respect to our opening or closing because of the weather, we follow the District
of Columbia Public Schools - if they are following a Code Orange (2 hours late) we
will open 2 hours later than our original opening time or close similarly. If a Code
Yellow is issued we will be closed.

With respect to
weekend inclement weather session cancellations, we follow the
Montgomery County Recreation Sports Office policy, as we would Montgomery
County Public School policy. With respect to
weekend inclement weather center
opening
, you should call our inclement weather line – we will make changes as
quickly as possible and call those of you who are scheduled for one-to-one or self
workouts to inform you of closures.

School and Government closures are reported on WTOP FM 103.5 and WMAL AM 630.

Keep in mind we may or may not be open depending on our ability to open. Please
call us at (301) 986-WISE before you make your trip.
